Keith’s personality creates a calm environment in which to review photographs and this process (although I was sceptical at first) is a most valuable part of the teaching and learning process. I found his comments to be delivered in a supportive rather than critical manner which is important to me at this early stage of my photographic experience.
On location Keith seemed to see so much more than me and opened my eyes to photographic opportunities that would have passed me by without his guidance. Keith’s solid understanding of both film and digital photography meant he was able to deal with my technical queries easily and I have also picked up many composition tips from him along the way. Keiths encouragement on location has also given me much more confidence when taking photos in public places.
